Tickets for the Canadian Grand Prix have sold out according to Normand Prieur, the race’s press officer.
Filling the void left by Michael Schuacher and local favourite Jacques Villeneuve is Lewis Hamilton who has helped to boost ticket sales this year. “We have been playing with that,” Prieur admitted. “We are not hiding that.”
In 2006, 332,000 people attended the race weekend, 119,000 on race day itself.
