If it was illegal then where's the penalty? Schumacher was asked to calm down or he would get a penalty - seems fair to me, as long as this sort of discretion is used again for other drivers if future races.
To be fair, Hamilton has been penalised for much, much less. I wanna say this happened during the Turkish GP.
I don't think that's to do with the driver, it's just different stewards having varying interpretations of the rules. This is exactly why I have been saying for years that they shpuld have the same stewards at every single race.
