Wow a newspaper reports it so it must be true.... Even if Lewis is against having a fast team mate and wants the team focus on him is that any different to past greats such as Schumi Prost Mansell etc? But because it's Lewis you get the hate club jump all over him like anything else he does.... Pathetic

its not hate bud ... its dislike based on actual crap he catches on and hopes to get away with it by acting stupid ( or by just being himself ). the "hateclub" you refering to is people ( with a bit a common sense ) refusing to look past it. I've said it many times before - lewis does not want a team mate that can challenge him. thats the kind of person he is. he is absolutely afraid of kimi and other drivers that will show him up. as far as i am concerned as a learning curve - thats what he needs. mclaren should seriously consider taking on kimi. if lewis proves to be the better driver with a guy of kimi's caliber in a sister car he might just gain a lil respect from the people that dont like him at the moment.

I think heidfeld is very good choice for McLaren and for Hamilton.
Becaasue Hammy can leanr stuff from him, lets face it he aint gonna be a challenge to Hamilton, and Hamilton can rob Heidfelds set up.

you not helping you know. this guy has more to prove than any other oke on the grid. he wants to steal other people's setups and ideas instead of being his own person. he doesnt want a level playing field in his own camp cos he wants it to appear he is the best mclaren has or can get. - actually , he's a damn waste of time..

I think it will be good for Lewis at Mclaren to have someone like Kimi alongside to help raise his game. Lewis said back in 2008 that he enjoyed the competitive side of having Alonso in the team and constantly being pushed by his team mate. Heikki is a is great guy but he hasn't lit the track on fire at Mclaren and they need someone like Kimi who will challenge for wins and secure valueable constructors points IMO.. I just hope he isn't tempted by the big money at Toyota, and chooses results over salary. He is virtually getting paid twice next season due to the termination of his Ferrari contract so hopefully money isn't his motivation.. :)

PS Hello everyone this is my first post on this forum....

maybe not, as some people on here *cough* Headless *cough* Tony are more concerned with discussing their pathetic hatred for a driver rather than talking anything F1 related.

Hahaha.
Are you trying to say my previous comment was?
It wasn't just simply saying Heidfeld would be a good teammate for Hammy.

Ha ha.. No I have just got sick of other forums of late with the constant driver bashing, where talent or skill is ignored in favour of interview analysis LOL.. Lewis Hamilton is rubbish bla bla bla, Ferrari are mean, Mclaren are cheats.. It just does my head in, and I am hoping this is a place where enthusiasts can discuss the real issues involved in a great sport like Formula One... cheers guys and dolls... :)

thats what i am saying, there are unfortunately guys on here who are more concerned with as you say a drivers interviews or how a guy celebrates or what he eats for dinner etc etc. rather than the actual sport itself. It gets annoying and tiresome but thats the internet for you, it opens a world full of dickheads straight into the comfort of your own home.
