to be fair about it each team boss listed has had issues this year

Ross Brawn - hussled a team not used to being at the front of the grid into world champions

Christian Horner - had managed to stop any inter team rivalry between Seb and Mark

Martin Whitmarsh - talk about a baptism of fire. Dear Martin, here is my pride and joy F1 team, cos I have had to leave the team because the team has lied to the FIA love Ron

Bob Bell - Held Renault together even though no doubt there is still massive shockwaves still going through the team

Vjay Mallya - Has brought the team to the front.

Stefano Domenicali - Had to say sorry to the whole of italy for putting BADoer in the car. he has done some good work as part of FOTA

Funny... I think it was Horner (or maybe at least Newey). Red Bull had the best package and had to deal with the blown Renault engines. He managed his drivers quite well and again brought the fight till the end to the team with the unfair advantage at season's start.

Not to take any respect away from Ross. Just being able to show up at Melbourne was an accomplishment; but I really believe Brawn's success was down to the diffuser and the Merc engine deal they were able to get because of the Honda fiasco.

It has to be Ross Brawn, his Brawn GP team didn't exist a few weeks before the season started and he created a race winning car out of the box even if it was developed using Honda's money.

Although Whitmarsh did a good job in McLaren's fight-back, I'd give the award to Brawn. He's the guy who got Honda sorted and into a position to win races and championships.
