So many good candidates, but I voted for the man who has cost Williams a shot at 3rd in the constructors title and makes bad excuses blaming the car when it's good enough for pole position.

For me, it has to be Schumacher's failed return - such a build up, and such a let down! Luca Badoer comes a close second, though...

Ooh tough one. I won't give it to Badoer, I still feel a bit sorry for him. Flavio and the Schumacher return are good candidates but I'm going to give it Piquet for being an utter :censored:

Didn't see Rosberg on that list! He did that yesterday too you know... :beans:

Surely the fail award goes to FOTA/OWG for achieving only a very, very small percentage of what they threatened to do...!

Yeah I would have voted him especially after he slagged the team off saying they "messed up" when clearly it was his fault.

Didn't they get exactly what they wanted though??

According to them that'd be a breakaway series, away from the FIA... so nope!

They wanted F1 to stay the same with no budget caps. Just because they blew hot air about a new series didn't mean they wanted it.

I voted Piquet Jnr. I know Luca did worse, but he hasnt raced for 10 years and I think the Ferrari is difficult to drive.

Piquet Jnr on the other hand is a sleazy douchebag who sucked arse and only got into F1 because of daddy.

We knew beforehand that Piquet and Badoer would not get the job done, so it's hardly fair to vote for them. That said, if you wish to consider Piquet's blackmail techniques, then fair enough. Although he has brought down Briatore and Symonds, he's royally duck himself over for getting a seat in the future, unless his father starts up a team.

For me, the biggest fail is BMW. How can a team, which is actually quite well managed, with so many resources, and with so much time to develop their car, get things so badly wrong? It defies belief.
