Tyson Gay is my favorite runner right now.

Lolo Jones. I felt so bad for her at Beijing last year. She had the 100m hurdles in the bag until she hit the last hurdle. :(

I used to like Marion Jones a lot, until she confessed to being a doper.

EDIT: And I used to really look up to Jeremy Wariner up until he fired his legendary coach, and started acting like a punk.

I dont think smoking marijuana gives you any sort of advantage :hehe:

But in all seriousness, I lose respect for athletes who used steroids or other performance enhancing drugs. Its not fair to the other runners, who only use their hard work and natural talent. I hate it when runners breathe in pure oxygen before races too.

I haven't read enough by Foucault to form an opinion, but i like Kant and Nietzsche as well.

Foucault is pretty interesting. He gets thrown in with postmodernists/poststructuralists, but those don't really describe his views at all (though he is pretty antifoundationalist). You can read his work without having to buy into extremist relativism, learning a lot about the history of knowledge and ideas, the self and how human relationships function. He's well worth reading if you have some free time.
